Call for Posters

Participate in the sixth international and interdisciplinary symposium Art in Motion in Munich, Germany on June 8th and 9th, 2018.

Exchange ideas with international guests from all over the world, enjoy live music and dance performances, attend workshops to explore creative training methods beyond tradition and superstition, and present your own work as a poster!

The poster session is an essential part of the event and will take place on the second day, Saturday, 6/ 9/18. There is time specifically allocated for all symposium participants to view the posters, watch demonstrations, and exchange their thoughts with poster presenters.

Do you have something you would like to present? Your current research or project that is related to the main theme of this year’s meeting — Training for Creative Excellence — and/or have you developed an innovative method for artistic or sports practice, composition, orchoreography and/ or how to teach these skills?

For those of you working in the fields of music, dance, acting or sports, the poster format can be used to report the results of empirical research, to discuss methodological issues, or to show the practical application of a training technique.

Young academics are very welcome! For young researchers, the poster session may serve to introduce their first scientific work to an international audience, to compare their scientific work to international standards, to network with the national and international junior and scientific community and to meet luminaries in the field.

If you are interested in sharing your work with others and participating in the poster session, please submit your abstract by Wednesday, March 31, 2018 at the latest. Abstracts will be peerreviewed, and notice of acceptance will be sent to you by May 1, 2018.

Those chosen will be awarded a reduction in the symposium fees for full participation on both days, and be invited to a catered lunch the day of the poster session. Your abstract willappear in the printed program book.

We look forward to your abstract submission as well as to answering any questions you may have:
